The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 2.4.143; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

यथा वा श्री-दशमे (१०.६०.३९) —
त्वं न्यस्त-दण्डमुनिभिर् गदितानुभाव
आत्मात्मदश् च जगताम् इति मे वृतो’सि ।
हित्वा भवद्-भ्रुव उदीरित-काल-वेग-
ध्वस्ताशिषो’ब्ज-भवनाकपतीन् कुतो’न्ये ॥२.४.१४३॥yathā vā śrī-daśame (10.60.39) —
tvaṃ nyasta-daṇḍamunibhir gaditānubhāva
ātmātmadaś ca jagatām iti me vṛto’si |
hitvā bhavad-bhruva udīrita-kāla-vega-
dhvastāśiṣo’bja-bhavanākapatīn kuto’nye ||2.4.143||
English translation
From the Tenth Canto of Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam [10.60.39]:
“Knowing that great sages who have renounced the sannyāsī's daṇḍa proclaim Your glories, that You are the Supreme Soul of all the worlds, and that You are so gracious that You give away even Your own self, I chose You as my husband, rejecting Lord Brahmā, Lord Śiva and the rulers of heaven, whose aspirations are all frustrated by the force of time, which is born from Your eyebrows. What interest, then, could I have in any other suitors?”
