The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 2.4.130; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. तत्र सदृशेक्षणा, यथा —
विलोक्य श्यामम् अम्भोदम् अम्भोरुह-विलोचना ।
स्मारं स्मारं मुकुन्द त्वां स्मारं विक्रमम् अन्वभूत् ॥२.४.१३०॥tatra sadṛśekṣaṇā, yathā —
vilokya śyāmam ambhodam ambhoruha-vilocanā |
smāraṃ smāraṃ mukunda tvāṃ smāraṃ vikramam anvabhūt ||2.4.130||
English translation
Smṛti arising from seeing a similar object:
“O Mukunda! When lotus-eyed Rādhā saw a dark cloud, She remembered
You and experienced the force of love.”
