The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 2.4.122; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

दाक्षिण्येन, यथा —
सात्राजिती-सदन-सीमनि पारिजाते
नीते प्रणीत-महसा मधुसूदनेन ।
द्राघीय-सीमनि विदर्भ-भुवस् तदेर्ष्यां
सौशील्यतः किल न को’पि विदाम्बभूव ॥२.४.१२२॥

dākṣiṇyena, yathā —
sātrājitī-sadana-sīmani pārijāte
nīte praṇīta-mahasā madhusūdanena |
drāghīya-sīmani vidarbha-bhuvas taderṣyāṃ
sauśīlyataḥ kila na ko’pi vidāmbabhūva
||2.4.122||

English translation

An example of avahitthā from mild nature:
“When Madhusūdana brought the parijāta tree to the house of Satyabhāmā, though Rukmiṇī was filled with anger, no one could detect that deception because of her mildness.”
