The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 2.4.71; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

यथा वा —
समम् उरु-करकाभिर् दन्ति-शुण्डा-सपिण्डाः
प्रतिदिशम् इह गोष्ठे वृष्टि-धाराः पतन्ति ।
अजनिषत युवानो’प्य् आकुलास् त्वं तु बालः
स्फुटम् असि तद्-अगारान् मा स्म भूर् निर्यियासुः ॥२.४.७१॥yathā vā —
samam uru-karakābhir danti-śuṇḍā-sapiṇḍāḥ
pratidiśam iha goṣṭhe vṛṣṭi-dhārāḥ patanti |
ajaniṣata yuvāno’py ākulās tvaṃ tu bālaḥ
sphuṭam asi tad-agārān mā sma bhūr niryiyāsuḥ ||2.4.71||
English translation
Another example:
“Showers of rain and hail are falling profusely like juice from the foreheads of elephants. The young men have become confused. You are just a boy;
therefore do not try to go out of the house.”
