अप्रिय-दर्शनजो, यथा —
किम् इदं किम् इदं किम् एतद् उच्चैर्
इति घोर-ध्वनि-घूर्णिता लपन्ती ।
निशि वक्षति वीक्ष्य पूतनायास्
तनयं भ्राम्यति सम्भ्रमाद् यशोदा ॥२.४.६६॥apriya-darśanajo, yathā —
kim idaṃ kim idaṃ kim etad uccair
iti ghora-dhvani-ghūrṇitā lapantī |
niśi vakṣati vīkṣya pūtanāyās
tanayaṃ bhrāmyati sambhramād yaśodā ||2.4.66||
English translation
From seeing something detestable:
“Hearing a terrifying sound and seeing Kṛṣṇa on the chest of Pūtanā during a dream, Yaśodā wailed in a loud voice, ‘What is this? What is this?’ She began wandering about in confusion.”
