रूप-तारुण्येन, यथा —
यस्याः स्वभाव-मधुरां परिषेव्य मूर्तिं
धन्या बभूव नितराम् अपि यवन-श्रीः ।
सेयं त्वयि व्रज-वधू-शत-भुक्त-मुक्ते
दृक्-पातम् आचरतु कृष्ण कथं सखी मे ॥२.४.४४॥rūpa-tāruṇyena, yathā —
yasyāḥ svabhāva-madhurāṃ pariṣevya mūrtiṃ
dhanyā babhūva nitarām api yavana-śrīḥ |
seyaṃ tvayi vraja-vadhū-śata-bhukta-mukte
dṛk-pātam ācaratu kṛṣṇa kathaṃ sakhī me ||2.4.44||
English translation
Haughtiness arising from beauty:
“Endowed with the beauty of youth, my friend Rādhā is fortunate, having taken shelter of the form of natural sweetness. How can She glance at You, who have enjoyed hundreds of women of Vraja and then abandoned them?”
