The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 2.4.31; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

अथ (५) श्रमः —
अध्व-नृत्य-रताद्य्-उत्थः खेदः श्रम इतीर्यते ।
निद्रा-स्वेदाङ्ग-संमर्द-जृम्भाश्वासादि-भाग् असौ ॥२.४.३१॥

atha (5) śramaḥ
adhva-nṛtya-ratādy-utthaḥ khedaḥ śrama itīryate |
nidrā-svedāṅga-saṃmarda-jṛmbhāśvāsādi-bhāg asau
||2.4.31||

English translation

“Fatigue arising from losing the way, dancing or amorous activities is called śrama. In this state, sleep, perspiration, rubbing the body, yawning and heavy breathing appear.”
