The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 2.4.23; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

त्रासेन, यथा प्रथमे (१.८.१०) —
अभिद्रवति माम् ईश शरस् तप्तायसो विभो ।
कामं दहतु मां नाथ मा मे गर्भो निपात्यताम् ॥२.४.२३॥

trāsena, yathā prathame (1.8.10) —
abhidravati mām īśa śaras taptāyaso vibho |
kāmaṃ dahatu māṃ nātha mā me garbho nipātyatām
||2.4.23||

English translation

Lowness arising from fear, from the First Canto of Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam [1.8.10]:
“O my Lord, You are all-powerful. A fiery iron arrow is coming towards me fast. My Lord, let it burn me personally, if You so desire, but please do not let it burn and abort my embryo. Please do me this favor, my Lord.”
