The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 2.4.1; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

अथोच्यन्ते त्रयस्-त्रिंशद्-भावा ये व्यभिचारिणः ।
विशेषेणाभिमुख्येन चरन्ति स्थायिनं प्रति ॥२.४.१॥

athocyante trayas-triṃśad-bhāvā ye vyabhicāriṇaḥ |
viśeṣeṇābhimukhyena caranti sthāyinaṃ prati
||2.4.1||

English translation

“Hereafter the 33 vyabhicārī-bhāvas will be described. They are called vyabhicārī-bhāvas because the move (caranti) against the sthāyī-bhāva, while assisting it in a distinctive way (viśeṣena abhimukhyena).”
