The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 2.3.83; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

रत्य्-आभास-भवास् ते तु सत्त्वाभास-भवास् तथा ।
निःसत्त्वाश् च प्रतीपाश् च यथा-पूर्वम् अमी वराः ॥२.३.८३॥

raty-ābhāsa-bhavās te tu sattvābhāsa-bhavās tathā |
niḥsattvāś ca pratīpāś ca yathā-pūrvam amī varāḥ ||2.3.83||

English translation

“However, four types of sāttvika-bhāvābhāsas should be described. They are called ratyābhāsa-bhāva (generated from ratyābhāsa), sattvābhāsa-bhāva (generated from sattvābhāsa), niḥsattva (false sattva) and pratīpa (enmity). They are listed in order from superior to inferior.”
