सत्त्वस्य तारतम्यात् प्राण-तनु-क्षोभ-तारतम्यं स्यात् ।
तत एव तारतम्यं सर्वेषां सात्त्विकानां स्यात् ॥२.३.६२॥sattvasya tāratamyāt prāṇa-tanu-kṣobha-tāratamyaṃ syāt |
tata eva tāratamyaṃ sarveṣāṃ sāttvikānāṃ syāt ||2.3.62||
English translation
“Because of the variations in sattva (disturbance of the mind due to rati), there is variation in the disturbance of the life airs and body. In other words, there are various degrees of all the sāttvika-bhāvas.”
