The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 2.3.20; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

बहिर् अन्तश् च विक्षोभ-विधायित्वाद् अतः स्फुटम् ।
प्रोक्तानुभावतामीषां भावता च मनीषिभिः ॥२.३.२०॥

bahir antaś ca vikṣobha-vidhāyitvād ataḥ sphuṭam |
proktānubhāvatāmīṣāṃ bhāvatā ca manīṣibhiḥ ||2.3.20||

English translation

“Because of this, the sāttvika-bhāvas produce extreme disturbance both internally and externally. The wise call the disturbance to the body the anubhāva aspect of the sāttvika-bhāva, and the disturbance to the heart the vyabhicārī aspect of the sāttvika-bhava.
