The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 2.2.19; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

घूर्णा, यथा —
ध्रुवम् अघरिपुर् आदधाति वात्यां
ननु मुरलि त्वयि फुत्कृति-च्छलेन ।
किम् अयम् इतरथा ध्वनिर् विघूर्णनं
सखि तव घूर्णयति व्रजाम्बुजाक्षीः ॥२.२.१९॥

ghūrṇā, yathā —
dhruvam agharipur ādadhāti vātyāṃ
nanu murali tvayi phutkṛti-cchalena
|
kim ayam itarathā dhvanir vighūrṇanaṃ
sakhi tava ghūrṇayati vrajāmbujākṣīḥ
||2.2.19||

English translation

Whirling around:
“O my friend, dear flute! Kṛṣṇa, on the pretext of blowing you, is certainly producing a gale. Otherwise, how does your sound alone cause the beautiful women of Vraja to whirl around?”
