The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 2.2.18; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

यथा —
शङ्के चिरं केशव-किङ्करस्य
चेतस् तटे भक्ति-लता प्रफुल्ला ।
येनाधि-तुण्ड-स्थलम् अट्टहास-
प्रसून-पुञ्जाश् चटुलं स्खलन्ति ॥२.२.१८॥

yathā —
śaṅke ciraṃ keśava-kiṅkarasya
cetas taṭe bhakti-latā praphullā
|
yenādhi-tuṇḍa-sthalam aṭṭahāsa-
prasūna-puñjāś caṭulaṃ skhalanti
||2.2.18||

English translation

An example:
“I think that the creeper of devotion in the heart of the servant of Kṛṣṇa has been blossoming for a long time, because a multitude of flowers in the form of his loud laughing is shaking his trembling lips.”
