अट्टहासः —
हासाद् भिन्नो’ट्टहासो’यं चित्त-विक्षेप-सम्भवः ॥२.२.१७॥aṭṭahāsaḥ —
hāsād bhinno’ṭṭahāso’yaṃ citta-vikṣepa-sambhavaḥ ||2.2.17||
English translation
Laughing loudly:
“Laughing that arises from a disturbance of the heart is called laughing loudly [aṭṭahāsa]. This is different from a normal laugh,”
