The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 2.1.362; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

अथ स्मितं, यथा कृष्ण-कर्णामृते (९९) —
अखण्ड-निर्वाण-रस-प्रवाहैर्
विखण्डिताशेष-रसान्तराणि ।
अयन्त्रितोद्वान्त-सुधार्णवानि
जयन्ति शीतानि तव स्मितानि ॥२.१.३६२॥

atha smitaṃ, yathā kṛṣṇa-karṇāmṛte (99) —
akhaṇḍa-nirvāṇa-rasa-pravāhair
vikhaṇḍitāśeṣa-rasāntarāṇi |
ayantritodvānta-sudhārṇavāni
jayanti śītāni tava smitāni
||2.1.362||

English translation

An example of the smile, from Kṛṣṇa-karnāmṛta:
“O Kṛṣṇa! Your gentle smiles which remove all pain by producing an unbroken stream of rasa of the highest bliss are disgracing all other rasas and emitting an unrestricted ocean of nectar.”
