The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 2.1.335; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

बाल्ये’पि नव-तारुण्य-प्राकट्यं क्वचित् ।
तन् नातिरस-वाहित्वान् न रसज्ञैर् उदाहृतम् ॥२.१.३३५॥

bālye’pi nava-tāruṇya-prākaṭyaṃ kvacit |
tan nātirasa-vāhitvān na rasajñair udāhṛtam
||2.1.335||

English translation

“Sometimes it is heard that new youthfulness appears in Kṛṣṇa even as a small child, but since that does not nourish rasa, it is not mentioned by those knowledgeable in rasa.”
