The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 2.1.317; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

खरतात्र नखाग्राणां धनुर् आन्दोलिता भ्रुवोः ।
रदानां रञ्जनं राग-चूर्णैर् इत्य् आदि चेष्टितम् ॥२.१.३१७॥

kharatātra nakhāgrāṇāṃ dhanur āndolitā bhruvoḥ |
radānāṃ rañjanaṃ rāga-cūrṇair ity ādi ceṣṭitam
||2.1.317||

English translation

“At the beginning of youth, the activities consist of sharpening His nails, quivering of His bow-like eyebrows, and staining the teeth with dyes.”
