The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 2.1.302; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

अथ उद्दीपनाः —
उद्दीपनास् तु ते प्रोक्ता भावम् उद्दीपयन्ति ये ।
ते तु श्री-कृष्ण-चन्द्रस्य गुणाश् चेष्टाः प्रसाधनम् ॥२.१.३०१॥
स्मिताङ्ग-सौरभे वंश-शृङ्ग-नूपुर-कम्बवः ।
पदाङ्क-क्षेत्र-तुलसी-भक्त-तद्-वासरादयः ॥२.१.३०२॥atha uddīpanāḥ —
uddīpanās tu te proktā bhāvam uddīpayanti ye |
te tu śrī-kṛṣṇa-candrasya guṇāś ceṣṭāḥ prasādhanam ||2.1.301||
smitāṅga-saurabhe vaṃśa-śṛṅga-nūpura-kambavaḥ |
padāṅka-kṣetra-tulasī-bhakta-tad-vāsarādayaḥ ||2.1.302||
English translation
“Things that nourish the bhāva of the practitioner are called uddīpanas or stimuli. These are things such as Kṛṣṇa’s qualities, pastimes, decorations, His smile, the fragrance of His body, His flute, horn anklets, conch, footprints, His dhāma, tulasī, devotees and festival days such as Janmāṣṭamī and Ekādaśī.”
