The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 2.1.296; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

इत्य् अतः कथिता नित्य-प्रिया यादव-वल्लवाः ।
एषां लौकिकवच्-चेष्टा लीला मुर-रिपोर् इव ॥२.१.२९६॥

ity ataḥ kathitā nitya-priyā yādava-vallavāḥ |
eṣāṃ laukikavac-ceṣṭā līlā mura-ripor iva
||2.1.296||

English translation

“Thus for this reason, the Yādavas known as the cowherd people are said to be eternal associates of the Lord. As with the Lord’s actions, their actions also appear worldly, although everything about them is purely spiritual.”
