वदान्यः को भवेद् अत्र वदान्यः पुरुषोत्तमात् ।
अकिञ्चनाय येनात्मा निर्गुणायापि दीयते ॥२.१.२७०॥yathā—
vadānyaḥ ko bhaved atra vadānyaḥ puruṣottamāt |
akiñcanāya yenātmā nirguṇāyāpi dīyate ||2.1.270||

“Is there anyone more magnanimous than the Supreme Lord, who offers even
His soul to the destitute and nondescript?
