The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 2.1.258; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

यथा —
वराम् अध्यासीनस् तट-भुवम् अवष्टम्भ-रुचिभिः
कदम्बैः प्रालम्बं प्रवलित-विलम्बं विरचयन् ।
प्रपन्नायाम् अग्रे मिहिर-दुहितुस् तीर्थ-पदवीं
कुरङ्गी-नेत्रायां मधु-रिपुर् अपाङ्गं विकिरति ॥२.१.२५८॥

yathā —
varām adhyāsīnas taṭa-bhuvam avaṣṭambha-rucibhiḥ
kadambaiḥ prālambaṃ pravalita-vilambaṃ viracayan |
prapannāyām agre mihira-duhitus tīrtha-padavīṃ
kuraṅgī-netrāyāṃ madhu-ripur apāṅgaṃ vikirati
||2.1.258||

English translation

“While Kṛṣṇa was sitting on the bank of the Yamunā, tarrying there on the pretext of making a long garland of golden kadamba flowers, Rādhā arrived at a ghat on the river. He threw a glance from the corner of His eye at the doe- eyed Rādhā.”
