The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 2.1.240; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

यथा वा —
अम्भो-भार-भर-प्रणम्र-जलद-भ्रान्तिं वितन्वन्न् असौ
घोराडम्बर-डम्बरः सुविकुटाम् उत्क्षिप्य हस्तार्गलाम् ।
दुर्वारः पर-वारणः स्वयम् अहं लब्धो’स्मि कृष्णः पुरो
रे श्रीदाम-कुरङ्गसङ्गर-भुवो भङ्गं त्वम् अङ्गीकुरु ॥२.१.२४०॥yathā vā —
ambho-bhāra-bhara-praṇamra-jalada-bhrāntiṃ vitanvann asau
ghorāḍambara-ḍambaraḥ suvikuṭām utkṣipya hastārgalām |
durvāraḥ para-vāraṇaḥ svayam ahaṃ labdho’smi kṛṣṇaḥ puro
re śrīdāma-kuraṅgasaṅgara-bhuvo bhaṅgaṃ tvam aṅgīkuru ||2.1.240||
English translation

“Making the low-hanging, water-filled clouds disperse, swinging a frightful trunk, with terrifying trumpeting sounds, I the monstrous, irrepressible elephant called Kṛṣṇa, destroyer of opponents, have arrived! Flee from the battlefield, O deer called Śrīdāma!”
