The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 2.1.204; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

यथा श्री-गीत-गोविन्दे (१.१६) —
वेदान् उद्धरते जगन्ति वहते भूगोलम् उद्बिभ्रते
दैत्यं दारयते बलिं छलयते क्षत्र-क्षयं कुर्वते ।
पौलस्त्यं जयते हलं कलयते कारुण्यम् आतन्वते
म्लेच्छान् मूर्च्छयते दशाकृति-कृते कृष्णाय तुभ्यं नमः ॥२.१.२०३॥

yathā śrī-gīta-govinde (1.16) —
vedān uddharate jaganti vahate bhūgolam udbibhrate
daityaṃ dārayate baliṃ chalayate kṣatra-kṣayaṃ kurvate |
paulastyaṃ jayate halaṃ kalayate kāruṇyam ātanvate
mlecchān mūrcchayate daśākṛti-kṛte kṛṣṇāya tubhyaṃ namaḥ
||2.1.203||

अन् एxअम्प्ले fरोम् थे गीत-गोविन्द:
“इ ओffएर् म्य् रेस्पेच्त्स् तो कृष्ण, wहो तकेस् तेन् fओर्म्स्: wहो रेस्चुएस् थे वेदस् अस् मत्स्य, wहो सुप्पोर्त्स् थे wओर्ल्द्स् अस् कूर्म, लिfत्स् थे एअर्थ् fरोम् थे लोwएर् रेगिओन्स् अस् वराह, पिएर्चेस् हिरण्यकषिपु अस् नृसिंह, त्रिच्क्स् बलि अस् वामन, देस्त्रोय्स् थे wअर्रिओर्स् अस् पराशुराम, चोन्qउएर्स् रावन अस् राम, पुल्ल्स् हिस् प्लोउघ् अस् बलराम, दिस्त्रिबुतेस् मेर्च्य् अस् बुद्ध, अन्द् किल्ल्स् थे रस्चल्स् अस् कल्की.”

(५९) हतारि-गति-दायकः —
मुक्ति-दाता हतारीणां हतारि-गति-दायकः ॥२.१.२०४॥

An example from the Gīta-govinda:
“I offer my respects to Kṛṣṇa, who takes ten forms: who rescues the Vedas as Matsya, who supports the worlds as Kūrma, lifts the earth from the lower regions as Varāha, pierces Hiraṇyakaṣipu as Nṛsiṃha, tricks Bali as Vāmana, destroys the warriors as Parāśurāma, conquers Rāvana as Rāma, pulls His plough as Balarāma, distributes mercy as Buddha, and kills the rascals as Kalkī.”

(59) hatāri-gati-dāyakaḥ —
mukti-dātā hatārīṇāṃ hatāri-gati-dāyakaḥ ||2.1.204||

English translation

(59) hatāri-gati-dāyakaḥ: giver of liberation to those He kills —
“He who gives liberation to those He kills is called giver of the goal to those
He kills.”
