The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 2.1.167; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. यथा श्री-दशमे (१०.९०.२६) —
श्रुत-मात्रो’पि यः स्त्रीणां प्रसह्याकर्षते मनः ।
उरुगायोरुगीतो वा पश्यन्तीनां च किं पुनः ॥२.१.१६७॥yathā śrī-daśame (10.90.26) —
śruta-mātro’pi yaḥ strīṇāṃ prasahyākarṣate manaḥ |
urugāyorugīto vā paśyantīnāṃ ca kiṃ punaḥ ||2.1.167||
English translation
An example from the Tenth Canto of Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam [10.90.26]:
“The Lord, being glorified in countless ways, forcibly attracts the minds of women who simply hear about Him. What to speak, then, if those women see Him directly?”
