The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 2.1.145; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

यथा —
ज्वर परिहर वित्रासं त्वम्
अत्र समरे कृतापराधे’पि ।
सद्यः प्रपद्यमाने यद्
इन्दवति यादवेन्द्रो’यम् ॥२.१.१४४॥yathā —
jvara parihara vitrāsaṃ tvam
atra samare kṛtāparādhe’pi |
sadyaḥ prapadyamāne yad
indavati yādavendro’yam ||2.1.144||

अन् एxअम्प्ले:
“ओ fएवेर् (wएअपोन्), थोउघ् योउ अरे अन् ओffएन्देर् इन् थिस् बत्त्ले, गिवे उप् योउर् fएअर्, बेचौसे थे बेस्त् ओf थे यदुस्, कृष्ण अच्त्स् अस् अ मोओन् तोwअर्द्स् थोसे wहो चोम्प्लेतेल्य् सुर्रेन्देर् तो हिम्.”
(३८) सुखी —
भोक्ता च दुःख-गन्धैर् अप्य् अस्पृष्टश् च सुखी भवेत् ॥२.१.१४५॥An example:
“O fever (weapon), though you are an offender in this battle, give up your fear, because the best of the Yadus, Kṛṣṇa acts as a moon towards those who completely surrender to Him.”(38) sukhī —
bhoktā ca duḥkha-gandhair apy aspṛṣṭaś ca sukhī bhavet ||2.1.145||
English translation
(38) sukhī: happy —
“The person who is an enjoyer and is not touched by a trace of sorrow is called a happy person.”
