The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 2.1.124; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

यथा —
सर्वार्थिनां बाढम् अभीष्ट-पूर्त्या
व्यर्थीकृताः कंस-निसूदनेन ।
ह्रियेव चिन्तामणि-कामधेनु-
कल्प-द्रुमा द्वारवतीं भजन्ति ॥२.१.१२४॥

yathā —
sarvārthināṃ bāḍham abhīṣṭa-pūrtyā
vyarthīkṛtāḥ kaṃsa-nisūdanena |
hriyeva cintāmaṇi-kāmadhenu-
kalpa-drumā dvāravatīṃ bhajanti
||2.1.124||

English translation

“The wishing jewel, the desire cow and the desire tree, being made useless, by
Kṛṣṇa, who fully satisfies all the supplicants’ desires, serve Dvārakā in shame.”
