The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 2.1.37; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

अथ पञ्च-गुणा ये स्युर् अंशेन गिरिशादिषु ॥२.१.३७॥

atha pañca-guṇā ye syur aṃśena giriśādiṣu ||2.1.37||

English translation

“Now five qualities of Kṛṣṇa, which will also be present in Śiva and others when they are the Lord’s expansions, will be listed.”
