The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 2.1.26; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

स्थिरो दान्तः क्षमा-शीलो गम्भीरो धृतिमान् समः ।
वदान्यो धार्मिकः शूरः करुणो मान्य-मानकृत् ॥२.१.२६॥

sthiro dāntaḥ kṣamā-śīlo gambhīro dhṛtimān samaḥ |
vadānyo dhārmikaḥ śūraḥ karuṇo mānya-mānakṛt
||2.1.26||

English translation

“He is persevering, patient, tolerant, inscrutable, steadfast, uniform, generous, virtuous, heroic, compassionate, and respectful to persons worthy of respect.”
