The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 1.4.18; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

Sanskrit text, Unicode transliteration and English translation:

अतएव श्री-नारद-पञ्चरात्रे, यथा —
भावोन्मत्तो हरेः किञ्चिन् न वेद सुखम् आत्मनः ।
दुखं चेति महेशानि परमानन्द आप्लुतः ॥१.४.१८॥

ataeva śrī-nārada-pañcarātre, yathā —
bhāvonmatto hareḥ kiñcin na veda sukham ātmanaḥ |
dukhaṃ ceti maheśāni paramānanda āplutaḥ
||1.4.18||

English translation

Therefore, in the Nārada-pañcarātra it is is said:
“O goddess Pārvatī, the person who is mad with love of the Lord, being absorbed in the highest bliss, does not at all know his own happiness and distress.”
