ब्रह्मण्य् एव लयं यान्ति प्रायेण रिपवो हरेः ।
केचित् प्राप्यापि सारूप्याभासं मज्जन्ति तत्-सुखे ॥१.२.२७९ ॥brahmaṇy eva layaṃ yānti prāyeṇa ripavo hareḥ |
kecit prāpyāpi sārūpyābhāsaṃ majjanti tat-sukhe ||1.2.279 ||
English translation
“The enemies of the Lord generally merge into the impersonal brahman. Some of them, even though they attain semblance of a form similar to the Lord’s (sārūpyābhāsam), remain absorbed in the happiness of brahman.”
