The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 1.2.260; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

विशेषणत्वम् एवैषां संश्रयन्त्य् अधिकारिणाम् ।
विवेकादीन्य् अतो’मीषाम् अपि नाङ्गत्वम् उच्यते ॥१.२.२६०॥

viśeṣaṇatvam evaiṣāṃ saṃśrayanty adhikāriṇām |
vivekādīny ato’mīṣām api nāṅgatvam ucyate ||1.2.260||

English translation

“Discrimination and other material qualities cannot be considered as aṅgas of uttama-bhakti, since they spontaneously take shelter of the excellent condition of persons practicing uttama-bhakti.”
