The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 1.2.234 ; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

Sanskrit text, Unicode transliteration and English translation:

यथा तत्रैव—
अतः श्री-कृष्ण-नामादि न भवेद् ग्राह्यं इन्द्रियैः ।
सेवोन्मुखे हि जिह्वादौ स्वयम् एव स्फुरत्य् अदः ॥१.२.२३४ ॥

yathā tatraiva—
ataḥ śrī-kṛṣṇa-nāmādi na bhaved grāhyaṃ indriyaiḥ |
sevonmukhe hi jihvādau svayam eva sphuraty adaḥ
||1.2.234 ||

English translation

Also from the Padma Purāṇa:
“Kṛṣṇa and His Holy Names cannot be grasped by the material senses, but when a person develops the tendency to accept the Lord’s Holy Name and transcendental form, Kṛṣṇa then spontaneously appears on the tongue and in the other senses.”
