The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 1.2.232 ; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. पाद्मे च —
येन जन्म-सहस्राणि वासुदेवो निषेवितः ।
तन्-मुखे हरि-नामानि सदा तिष्ठन्ति भारत ॥१.२.२३२ ॥pādme ca —
yena janma-sahasrāṇi vāsudevo niṣevitaḥ |
tan-mukhe hari-nāmāni sadā tiṣṭhanti bhārata ||1.2.232 ||
English translation
In the Padma Purāṇa, it is said:
“The Holy Names of the Lord remain continuously in the mouth of that person who serves Vāsudeva for a thousand births.”
