The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 1.2.217; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

स्कान्दे च —
शङ्ख-चक्राङ्कित-तनुः शिरसा मञ्जरी-धरः ।
गोपी-चन्दन-लिप्ताङ्गो दृष्तश् चेत् तद्-अघं कुतः ॥१.२.२१६॥

skānde ca —
śaṅkha-cakrāṅkita-tanuḥ śirasā mañjarī-dharaḥ |
gopī-candana-liptāṅgo dṛṣtaś cet tad-aghaṃ kutaḥ
||1.2.216||

English translation

अल्सो, थे स्कन्द पुराण सय्स्:
“Wहेरे इस् सिन् fओर् थे पेर्सोन् wहो हस् सेएन् अ वैष्णव wहोसे बोद्य् इस् मर्केद् wइथ् चोन्छ् अन्द् दिस्च्, wहो हस् तुलसी मञ्जरीस् ओन् हिस् हेअद् अन्द् wहोसे लिम्ब्स् अरे स्मेअरेद् wइथ् गोपी-चन्दन?”

प्रथमे (१.१९.३३) च—
येषां संस्मरणात् पुंसां सद्यः शुद्ध्यन्ति वै गृहाः ।
किं पुनर् दर्शन-स्पर्श-पाद-शौचासनादिभिः ॥१.२.२१७॥

Also, the Skanda Purāṇa says:
“Where is sin for the person who has seen a Vaiṣṇava whose body is marked with conch and disc, who has tulasī mañjarīs on his head and whose limbs are smeared with gopī-candana?”

prathame (1.19.33) ca—
yeṣāṃ saṃsmaraṇāt puṃsāṃ sadyaḥ śuddhyanti vai gṛhāḥ |
kiṃ punar darśana-sparśa-pāda-śaucāsanādibhiḥ
||1.2.217||

English translation

The First Canto of Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam [1.19.33] says:
“Simply by our remembering you, our houses become instantly sanctified. And what to speak of seeing you, touching you, washing your holy feet and offering you a seat in our home?”
