The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 1.2.192 ; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

द्वितीयं, यथा अगस्त्य-संहितायाम् —
परिचर्या पराः केचित्
प्रासादेषु च शेरते ।
मनुष्यम् इव तं द्रष्टुं
व्यावहर्तुं च बन्धुवत् ॥१.२.१९२ ॥

dvitīyaṃ, yathā agastya-saṃhitāyām —
paricaryā parāḥ kecit
prāsādeṣu ca śerate |
manuṣyam iva taṃ draṣṭuṃ
vyāvahartuṃ ca bandhuvat
||1.2.192 ||

English translation

The second type of friendship is illustrated in the Agastya-saṃhitā:
“A person who is dedicated to serving the Lord, and out of friendship sees and treats Him as a human, lies down in the Lord’s temple.”
