The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 1.2.185; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

कर्म स्वाभाविकं भद्रं जप-ध्यानार्चनादि च ।
इतीदं द्विविधं कृष्णे वैष्णवैर् दास्यम् अर्पितम् ॥१.२.१८५॥

karma svābhāvikaṃ bhadraṃ japa-dhyānārcanādi ca |
itīdaṃ dvividhaṃ kṛṣṇe vaiṣṇavair dāsyam arpitam ||1.2.185||

English translation

“There are two categories of this varṇāśrama-dāsyam offered to the Lord by the Vaiṣṇavas: Offering the auspicious among the prescribed actions according to one’s nature, and offering only actions such as japa, meditation and Deity worship.”
