The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 1.2.183 ; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

अथ दास्यम् —
दास्यं कर्मार्पणं तस्य कैङ्कर्यम् अपि सर्वथा ॥१.२.१८३ ॥

atha dāsyam —
dāsyaṃ karmārpaṇaṃ tasya kaiṅkaryam api sarvathā ||1.2.183 ||

English translation

“Acting as a servant: dāsyam is defined as offering the result of prescribed duties and acting as a menial servant of the Lord.”
