The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 1.2.176; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

यथा विष्णु-पुराणे (५.१७.१७) —
स्मृते सकल-कल्याण-भाजनं यत्र जायते ।
पुरुषं तम् अजं नित्यं व्रजामि शरणं हरिम् ॥१.२.१७६॥

yathā viṣṇu-purāṇe (5.17.17) —
smṛte sakala-kalyāṇa-bhājanaṃ yatra jāyate |
puruṣaṃ tam ajaṃ nityaṃ vrajāmi śaraṇaṃ harim
||1.2.176||

English translation

This is illustrated in the Viṣṇu Purāṇa [5.17.17]:
“I surrender to the unborn, eternal person Hari, by remembrance of Whom one takes possession of all auspiciousness.”
