The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 1.2.156; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

यथा वा —
कदाहं यमुना-तीरे नामानि तव कीर्तयन् ।
उद्बाष्पः पुण्डरीकाक्ष रचयिष्यामि ताण्डवम् ॥१.२.१५६॥

yathā vā —
kadāhaṃ yamunā-tīre nāmāni tava kīrtayan |
udbāṣpaḥ puṇḍarīkākṣa racayiṣyāmi tāṇḍavam
||1.2.156||

English translation

Another example is presented:
“O lotus-eyed Lord, when will I dance on the bank of the Yamunā with tears in my eyes while singing Your Holy Names?”
