The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 1.2.154 ; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

दैन्य-बोधिका, यथा तत्रैव —
मत्-तुल्यो नास्ति पापात्मा नापराधी च कश्चन ।
परिहारे’पि लज्जा मे किं ब्रूवे पुरुषोत्तम ॥१.२.१५४ ॥

dainya-bodhikā, yathā tatraiva —
mat-tulyo nāsti pāpātmā nāparādhī ca kaścana |
parihāre’pi lajjā me kiṃ brūve puruṣottama
||1.2.154 ||

English translation

Admission of worthlessness is shown in the Padma Purāṇa:
“O Supreme Lord! There is no one as sinful as me, no one who has committed as many offenses. What can I say? I am very ashamed to ask You to remove these sins.”
