The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 1.2.153 ; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

तत्र सम्प्रार्थनात्मिका, यथा पाद्मे —
युवतीनां यथा यूनि यूनां च युवतौ यथा ।
मनो’भिरमते तद्वन् मनो’भिरमतां त्वयि ॥१.२.१५३ ॥

tatra samprārthanātmikā, yathā pādme —
yuvatīnāṃ yathā yūni yūnāṃ ca yuvatau yathā |
mano’bhiramate tadvan mano’bhiramatāṃ tvayi
||1.2.153 ||

English translation

Prayer is illustrated in the Padma Purāṇa:
“Just as the minds of young women are attracted to a young man, and the minds of young men are attracted to young women, may my mind be attracted to You!”
