The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 1.2.144 ; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

३२ - अथ गीतं, यथा लैङ्गे —
ब्राह्मणो वासुदेवाख्यं गायमानो’निशं परम् ।
हरेः सालोक्यम् आप्नोति रुद्र-गानाधिकं भवेत् ॥१.२.१४४ ॥

32 - atha gītaṃ, yathā laiṅge —
brāhmaṇo vāsudevākhyaṃ gāyamāno’niśaṃ param |
hareḥ sālokyam āpnoti rudra-gānādhikaṃ bhavet
||1.2.144 ||

English translation

Next singing, illustrated in the Liṅga Purāṇa:
“Even the brāhmaṇa who sings continuously in front of Vāsudeva attains the planet of Viṣṇu. This singing is greater than Śiva himself singing.”
