The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 1.2.135; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. २९ - परिक्रमो, यथा तत्रैव —
विष्णुं प्रदक्षिनी-कुर्वन् यस् तत्रावर्तते पुनः ।
तद् एवावर्तनं तस्य पुनर् नावर्तते भवे ॥१.२.१३५॥29 - parikramo, yathā tatraiva —
viṣṇuṃ pradakṣinī-kurvan yas tatrāvartate punaḥ |
tad evāvartanaṃ tasya punar nāvartate bhave ||1.2.135||
English translation
Circumambulation, from the Hari-bhakti-sudhodaya:
“If a person circumambulates [the Deity of] Viṣṇu and returns to the same spot, that returning guarantees that he does not return to another birth.”
