२२ - नामाक्षर-धृतिः, यथा स्कान्दे —
हरि-नामाक्षर-युतं भाले गोपी-मृडङ्कितम् ।
तुलसी-मालिकोरस्कं स्पृशेयुर् न यमोद्भटाः ॥१.२.१२३॥22 - nāmākṣara-dhṛtiḥ, yathā skānde —
hari-nāmākṣara-yutaṃ bhāle gopī-mṛḍaṅkitam |
tulasī-mālikoraskaṃ spṛśeyur na yamodbhaṭāḥ ||1.2.123||
English translation
Wearing the syllables of the Holy Name, from the Skanda Purāṇa:
“The servants of Yama will not touch those who have the names of Hari on their bodies, who have gopī-candan tilaka on their foreheads and who have tulasī beads on their chests.”
