The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 1.2.114; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

१५ - व्यावहारे’प्य् अकार्पण्यं, यथा पाद्मे —
अलब्धे वा विनष्टे वा भक्ष्याच्छादन-साधने ।
अविक्लव-मतिर् भूत्वा हरिम् एव धिया स्मरेत् ॥१.२.११४॥

15 - vyāvahāre’py akārpaṇyaṃ, yathā pādme —
alabdhe vā vinaṣṭe vā bhakṣyācchādana-sādhane |
aviklava-matir bhūtvā harim eva dhiyā smaret
||1.2.114||

English translation

Not feeling miserable and not performing degrading acts in distressing circumstances, illustrated in the Padma Purāṇa:
“Being undisturbed when one does not obtain food or clothing or when these things are lost, one should remember the Lord with one’s intelligence.”
