The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 1.2.107; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

गङ्गादि-वासो, यथा प्रथमे (१.१९.६) —
या वै लसच्-छ्री-तुलसी-विमिश्र-
कृष्णाङ्घ्रि-रेण्व्-अभ्यधिकाम्बु-नेत्री ।
पुनाति सेशान् उभयत्र लोकान्
कस् तां न सेवेत मरिष्यमाणः ॥१.२.१०७॥gaṅgādi-vāso, yathā prathame (1.19.6) —
yā vai lasac-chrī-tulasī-vimiśra-
kṛṣṇāṅghri-reṇv-abhyadhikāmbu-netrī |
punāti seśān ubhayatra lokān
kas tāṃ na seveta mariṣyamāṇaḥ ||1.2.107||
English translation
Living near the Gaṅgā, from the First Canto of Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam [1.19.6]:
“The river Ganges, by which the King sat to fast carries the most auspicious water, which is mixed with the dust of the lotus feet of the Lord and tulasī leaves. Therefore that water sanctifies the three worlds inside and outside and even sanctifies Lord Śiva and other demigods. Consequently everyone who is destined to die must take shelter of this river.”
