The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 1.2.83; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

अस्यास् तत्र प्रवेशाय द्वारत्वे’प्य् अङ्ग-विंशतेः ।
त्रयां प्रधानम् एवोक्तं गुरु-पादाश्रयादिकम् ॥१.२.८३॥

asyās tatra praveśāya dvāratve’py aṅga-viṃśateḥ |
trayāṃ pradhānam evoktaṃ guru-pādāśrayādikam ||1.2.83||

English translation

“These twenty aṅgas serve as the door for entering bhakti. The first three aṅgas—taking shelter of the feet of guru, receiving teachings after initiation, and serving the guru with respect—are said to be the principal ones.”
