The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 1.2.57; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

किन्तु प्रेमैक-माधुर्य-जुष एकान्तिनो हरौ ।
नैवाङ्गीकुर्वते जातु मुक्तिं पञ्च-विधाम् अपि ॥१.२.५७॥

kintu premaika-mādhurya-juṣa ekāntino harau |
naivāṅgīkurvate jātu muktiṃ pañca-vidhām api ||1.2.57||

English translation

“But the devotees solely attached to the Lord who relish the sweetness of prema never accept the five types of liberation at all, even prema-uttara.”
