The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 1.2.28; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

तत्रैव, श्रीकपिल-देवोक्तौ (३.२५.३५) —
नैकात्मतां मे स्पृहयन्ति केचिन्
मत्-पाद-सेवाभिरता मद्-ईहाः ।
ये’न्योन्यतो भागवताः प्रसज्य
सभाजयन्ते मम पौरुषाणि ॥१.२.२७॥

tatraiva, śrīkapila-devoktau (3.25.35) —
naikātmatāṃ me spṛhayanti kecin
mat-pāda-sevābhiratā mad-īhāḥ |
ye’nyonyato bhāgavatāḥ prasajya
sabhājayante mama pauruṣāṇi
||1.2.27||

English translation

अन्द् कपिल स्ततेस् थे समे [इन् श्रीमद्-भागवतम् ३.२५.३४]:
“अ पुरे देवोतेए, wहो इस् अत्तछेद् तो थे अच्तिवितिएस् ओf देवोतिओनल् सेर्विचे अन्द् wहो अल्wअय्स् एन्गगेस् इन् थे सेर्विचे ओf म्य् लोतुस् fएएत्, नेवेर् देसिरेस् तो बेचोमे ओने wइथ् मे. सुछ् अ देवोतेए, wहो इस् उन्fलिन्छिन्ग्ल्य् एन्गगेद्, अल्wअय्स् ग्लोरिfइएस् म्य् पस्तिमेस् अन्द् अच्तिवितिएस्.”

तत्रैव (३.२९.१३) —
सालोक्य-सार्ष्टि-सामीप्य-सारूप्यैकत्वम् अप्य् उत ।
दीयमानं न गृह्णन्ति विना मत्-सेवनं जनाः ॥१.२.२८॥

And Kapila states the same [in Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam 3.25.34]:
“A pure devotee, who is attached to the activities of devotional service and who always engages in the service of My lotus feet, never desires to become one with Me. Such a devotee, who is unflinchingly engaged, always glorifies My pastimes and activities.”

tatraiva (3.29.13) —
sālokya-sārṣṭi-sāmīpya-sārūpyaikatvam apy uta |
dīyamānaṃ na gṛhṇanti vinā mat-sevanaṃ janāḥ
||1.2.28||

English translation

Kapila also says [in Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam 3.29.13]:
“A pure devotee does not accept any kind of liberation—sālokya, sārṣṭi, sāmīpya, sārūpya or ekatva—even though they are offered by the Supreme Personality of Godhead, if they are not accompanied by service.”
